MaxLite HL Series High Bay wins Consulting-Specifying Engineer 2017 Product of the Year Bronze Award

MaxLite announced that its HL Series Linear LED High Bay has received the Bronze Award in the lighting category of Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine’s 2017 Product of the Year competition.

Adding to the prestige of the honor is the fact that the awards are chosen by the customer. Product finalists are selected by the editors after a thorough evaluation process and then are voted on by Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s readership of 400,000-plus engineers and building industry professionals to determine the winners.

Recognized for its uniquely compact and adaptable design, the HL Series Linear High Bay delivers the lumen output of a traditional 600-watt high bay in a form factor roughly one-fourth the size. Measuring 14” x 24”, the HL Series offers leading-edge efficacy and scalability in high ceiling applications such as warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and big box retailers. Available in outputs from 12,000 to 25,000 lumens, the LED high bay consumes 50 percent less energy than fluorescent and HID fixtures, and offers exceptional lumen maintenance of 100,000 hours. The DLC Premium-listed luminaire can be configured with wide beam distributions, and emergency controls, for optimal light output and energy savings.

“We are thrilled to have our HL Series Linear High Bay recognized by the engineering and specifying community,” said Product Manager Ramesh Raghavan. “The HL Series is far more compact than other high output options without sacrificing performance in the process. The series delivers up to 132 lumens per watt, and offers numerous mounting options, distributions and accessories. While other high bays may offer some of these features, ours accomplishes all of this in a much smaller package than the standard high bay.”

The HL Series High Bay was also recognized with a Platinum Award in the 2017 Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) competition. Sponsored by Design Journal Magazine, the international trade publication for interior designers, architects and facility managers, ADEX is one of the largest and most prestigious awards programs for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes.
