Osram announced that it has decided to shut down server support for smart lamps from the Lightify lighting system. Osram and its system distributor LEDVANCE noted that customers are now using comprehensive Smart Home solutions with intelligent assistants to control smart lighting, instead of using a separate lighting control system or gateway. During the Eurovision Song Contest in May, Osram will bathe the Swedish capital in bright colors that show what viewers think of the songs. The Munich-based lighting specialist will light up seven landmarks in Stockholm and countless living rooms around the world with the help of light control during the semifinals and finals of the song contest. The color of the lights will reflect each song's appeal to viewers.

With an expected audience of 200 million, the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) will this year once again be a great TV entertainment show.
