Plessey to Showcase Micro LED AR/VR Glasses at CES 2019

Plessey, the UK-based optoelectronic technology solutions provider, announced that it is going to demonstrate AR and VR glasses powered by Micro LEDs at CES 2019. WaveOptics is a UK-based Augmented Reality (AR) wearable device designer and manufacturer with its diffractive waveguides technology. Latest Rumors Suggest Samsung May Acquire Micro LED Maker PlayNitride

Micro LED has become an obvious technology trend that even Samsung has started to eagerly tap into. According to international OLED publication OLED-info, Samsung is rumored to acquire Taiwan-based Micro LED manufacturer PlayNitride for up to US$150 million.
