This universal AC-input LED driver is designed to meet or exceed worldwide power-factor regulations for non-dimmable retrofit LED bulbs and tube lighting, providing a design that also delivers high efficiency and a low BOM cost. Options for the integrated MOSFET allow for 300V to 650V drain voltages and 1A to 4A drain currents in order to suit most 3W to 18W bulb requirements.

This device targets line-powered, triac-dimmable LED lighting applications. It also provides compatibility with leading- and trailing-edge triac dimmers using a single-stage, high power-factor dimming circuit that complies with the NEMA SSL-6 dimming curve, delivering optimal line and load regulation. This integrated MOSFET eliminates the need for auxiliary winding, which lowers BOM cost and enables a smaller PCB, making this an attractive and competitive solution for driving LED lamps up to 15W.
