LensVector will change the scene at Lightfair International this May as luminaire manufacturers and control companies demonstrate breakthrough Dynamic Beam Shaping technology. The lens allows infinite beam adjustment along a continuum from a less-than-ten-degree narrow spot to a very wide flood and eliminates the need for dedicated spot or flood lamps in many applications. Seoul Semiconductor on April 30 announced consolidated first-quarter revenues of Korean won (KrW) 283.0 billion (USD 263 million). Earlier today, the Board of Directors of LG Electronics (LG) approved the acquisition of leading automotive lighting and headlight systems provider ZKW Group, capping a deal worth more than EUR 1.1 billion, LG's largest acquisition to date. Under the terms of the transaction, LG Electronics will acquire a 70 percent stake in ZKW Group with parent company LG Corp. purchasing the remaining 30 percent.
