All three intellectual property rights have been declared as null and void by the relevant German and European authorities; as a consequence, Kingbright has prevailed in the afore-mentioned infringement litigations. The patent infringement battle between SemiLEDs and Cree has come to an end. The two companies have agreed to end their respective patent infringement litigation against each other. Under the settlement, SemiLEDs has agreed to make a one-time payment to Cree for past damages.
