MR Series Launches to US Market

Orlando, FL (US), 30th March 2021 – Absen Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of a new LED solution to the North America market, the MR series, an LED solution for the rental & staging and virtual studio market.

Available in the 4.8mm, the MR series is a high impact floor display for interactive rental and staging applications including concerts, trade shows, and XR virtual studio solutions. It has a brightness of up to 1200 nits and a refresh rate of 3840Hz. Currently the MR4.8 is available, while the MR2.8 will be released at a later date.

Made of lightweight die-cast aluminum, panels have a dimension of 19” x 19” x 3”, which is 10 – 30 % thinner than regular panels, which require a shorter slope. The panels also have an adjustable height of 0 – 20mm, in case the panels are placed on rough ground. This will allow you to directly install your floor displays to the ground in most case, without additional structure and work. An installation frame solution is also in development, to let you setup several panels at a time and speed up the assembling.” The surface of each panel is constructed of highly polished deep black glass that is water resistant. This allows the panels to be easily cleaned while also creating a dream-like stage effect under the same light.

Another key feature of the MR series is the high intensity frame that allows for a strong load capacity as the floor applications requires. It can hold up to over 5500lbs/m2, also has a factor of safety that is greater than 3.0 for added protection to both the panels and users.

The creativity of the MR series is also utilized through different installation scenarios. This includes being installed as an LED floor in virtual studio and broadcasting solutions and implementing XR technology for a more interactive experience. It can also be installed as a traditional hanging or ground support solution for concerts and corporate live events. when used in broadcast and virtual studio/filmapplications, MR can serve as the floor in tandem with both the Polaris Series and Aries series LED solutions and opens up the door for creative content to be displayed for the end user.
