Acer’s Mini LED Gaming Notebook to Be Launched in Q4

During the product launch event held on October 21 in Taiwan, Acer debuted four NBs that will be available in the fourth quarter, namely the thin and light Swift series, ConceptD for creators, eco-friendly Aspire Vero and flagship Predator Helio 500 with a 4K Mini LED monitor for gamers.

The Predator Helio 500 features an Intel® CoreTM i9 processor, NVIDIA RTXTM 3080 GPU, 64GB DDR4 memory and PCIe NVMe SSD in RAID 0, along with RGB lighting effect and a MagTek mechanical keyboard.

Display is another highlight of the NB. The Helio 500 model features a large 17.3-inch 120Hz 4K Mini AmLED monitor and a 5th-gen AeroBladeTM 3D fan that ensures high performance and effective heat dissipation.

The Swift 3, known for its slimness and lightweight, comes with an all-new “beach blue gradient” option. Compared to preceding models with only single colors, the blue gradient model is unique with the ACER logo being moved to the top. Equipped with a 11th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7 processor, the Swift 3 is certified by Intel® EVOTM with 1-second wakeup from sleep and an 18-hour battery life.

As for the ConceptD 7 series, Acer launched its SpatialLabs Edition product centering on the first-ever “glasses-free 3D” experience. The built-in SpatialLabs allows users to import 3D models, which are then converted into glasses-free stereoscopic 3D contents through the eye-tracking lens on the top of the device.

Regarding hardware specs, the ConceptD 7 is equipped with a 11th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7 processor, NVIDIA RTXTM 3080 GPU and a 15.6-inch monitor with Pantone validated certification and AdobeRGB 100% color gamut.

The Aspire Vero is all about eco-friendliness. Despite its appearance and functions being similar to general NBs, the green NB features recyclable packaging with a small amount of plastic being used, plus a reusable stand. The NB per se is made of 30% recycled plastic, hence its slightly coarse texture. (Source: Liberty Times)
