GlacialLight, the lighting division of GlacialTech Inc., is introducing the second generation of its modular ceiling light series for indoor commercial lighting – GL-PL0303-V2 and GL-PL0312-V2. ProLight, a Taiwan high power LED packaging house, introduced the latest E series products which can be driven to higher drive current. E series adopts ProLight’s patented High Thermal Eutectic Technology. The eutectic material that is commonly used is Au-Sn, the thermal conductivity is around 58W/mK, but ProLight have developed the high thermal dissipating eutectic material, which have thermal conductivity over 160W/mK. This unique eutectic can reduce heat resistance and drive LED by higher current to optimize lumens.

EarthTronics introduces a new 12-watt LED, LPD12/G24Q/830 to easily replace 18-watt G24q-2 base compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) that increases energy savings and performance life. Hitechled has launched the 60W smart integrated solar LED street light (model#:HT-SS-1H60). It integrates a 60W high lumen LED lamp, LiFePO4 lithium battery, high efficiency sunpower microcrystal solar panel, and a smart controller with PIR motion sensor. Generally, it outputs light in energy-saving mode; when the PIR motion sensor detects a moving object, it will automately light at full brightness for a certain time, then turn back to energy-saving mode. As there is no cable needed (no need to connect to municipal electronic power), it is simply installed and there is nearly no need for maintenance. Last but not least, it is 100% clean, green, renewable light, and can be used in for street, garden, country yard, parking lot, seaside resort and exterior area lighting wherever there is sufficient sunlight.

Infineon Technologies launched its LITIX™ Basic family of LED drivers specifically designed for low-power to medium-power automotive exterior lighting applications. The high-integration LED driver family reduces system complexity and improves reliability of turn indicator, tail, stop and reverse LED lights. By reducing part count and offering more features than discrete design approaches, the LITIX Basic family allows automotive manufacturers to expand the use of brand-specific and safety-enhancing LED light systems.
