The WAL-SL-10-PAR38-LED work area string lights from Larson Electronics consists of ten industrial grade LED lamps with 10 feet of 14/2 SJTW cable between each lamp. This temporary LED string light system is connected to power via an integrated 3’ cable terminated with a standard 5-15 weather proof straight blade plug. Each globe light is equipped with a high output LED bub which delivers more light output than a 150 watt PAR38 lamp. Each individual socket is equipped with a hook eyelet making them versatile for a number of industrial applications requiring reliable and bright illumination. This LED light set is a far more energy efficient bulb and provides 250,000 lumens of illumination over 50,000 hours, compared to the 2,500 hours offered by standard 150 watt PAR38 halogen lamps. For the first time there is a compact laser multi-chip package. Osram Opto Semiconductors can pack up to 20 blue laser chips in the new PLPM4 450 module. Instead of taking the laborious approach and constructing a light source from individual laser diodes, it is now possible to reduce the complexity of laser projectors significantly. Developers also succeeded in doubling the optical output of the individual chips, with the result that the new laser module now offers an overall output of 50 W. This means that professional laser projectors can achieve a brightness level of more than 2000 lumen with only one component.

Programming LED Drivers is nothing new. But it hasn’t been simple or fast. It requires expensive programmable drivers, and requires wiring and powering up each individual driver. Or it requires that cumbersome mechanical resistors be attached to the driver for just setting drive current. This just doesn’t work for high volume, reliable manufacturing in the lighting business.

The MicroSense UltraMap C200A is an automated LED Sapphire Wafer Measurement system based on MicroSense's proprietary two sided capacitive sensing technology. The system measures critical substrate parameters including Thickness, TTV, Bow, Warp and Local Thickness Variation (LTV) with high throughput. The UltraMap C200 is designed for sapphire wafer manufacturers and LED chip makers who require better wafer geometry inspection with higher measurement repeatability, compared to traditional optical metrology systems.
