UNISTARS announced a new LED package solution for super high CRI (Color Rendering Index) applications in the end of 2012.  This great achievement means that LED can provide both high quality and good efficiency solution to general lighting.   UNISTARS’ extremely high CRI  LEDs not only enhances color rendering quality to over 98, but also shows good saturated red color (R9) over 90. Furthermore, the extremely high CRI (>98) products can achieve high luminous efficiency up to 100 lm/W and are ready for different CCT applications. The Venus 3535 series with CRI>98 has been successfully mass-produced with the most advanced technologies of phosphor coating and silicon lens formation.
