Each year, the Progress Committee of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) solicits the lighting industry for product submissions. Accepted products are featured in the committee’s Progress Report at the IESNA annual conference and published in the IESNA’s publication, LD+A. The Progress Committee selects products that represent advancements to the art and science of lighting.

DOE Announces 2013 Outdoor Winners for Next Generation Luminaires Design Competition

The 2013 winners in the outdoor category of the Next Generation LuminairesTM Solid-State Lighting Design Competition were announced at the Strategies in Light conference in Santa Clara, CA. Sponsored by DOE, the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, and the International Association of Lighting Designers, NGL was created to recognize and promote excellence in commercial LED lighting products.
