Highlights this week, Cree sues two Taiwanese LED manufacturers Harvatek and Knightbright over LED patent infringements. New analysis on sapphire cover glass disappearance from the iPhone 6 result in two very different arguments, with one camp attempting to shield GTAT by saying it was Chinese sapphire processing manufacturers fault. However, a follow up analysis noted Apple never planned to use sapphire glass in iPhone 6 to begin with.
