LEDVANCE announced a wide range of new SYLVANIA LED lighting solutions for both residential and commercial applications. Available now or in the near future, first-to-market products include an easy option for updating recessed lighting, and connected indoor/outdoor and under cabinet lighting.  The company is also launching a motion and temperature sensor – a major step toward automating intelligent light – and Energy Star® qualified LED A19 and A21 lamps that are rated at 15,000 hours, offering long life at a good value, and eligible for utility rebates.

Ledvance has been a legislatively independent subsidiary of Osram since July 2016, and now offers a portfolio of needs-based LED luminaires for professional use for all common applications. Electrical contractors find the energy-efficient luminaires with the “Ledvance” brand exclusively in the electrical wholesale sector. The products feature very good cost-benefit ratios, especially simple mounting, concise designs and durability. 

Evluma announces the release of a Type III AreaMax, adding to the technologically innovative and award-winning AreaMax product line of outdoor LED luminaires for street and area lighting. The 70W LED Type III luminaire is recommended to replace 100-200W HID pole-mounted lights. Launching at TechAdvantge Conference and Expo in New Orleans, Feb 15-17, the Type III AreaMax is currently undergoing field trials with a release date of March 2016.
