Representatives from Everlight and Edison Opto have recently rebutted an earlier Digitimes report claiming the two companies were in acquisition talks.

Leading Taiwanese LED manufacturers Epistar and Everlight reported declining revenues in February 2015, according to a report from CNA.

Affected by the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday season, Taiwanese LED manufacturer Everlight’s revenue in February dipped slightly. However, with workdays returning to norm in March, the company expects revenues to rebound, according to a MoneyDJ report.

The company has decided to expand capital expenditure (CapEx) from less than NT $ 1.0 billion (US $ 30 million) to NT $1.5 billion to NT $ 1.7 billion. The move highlights the LED industry’s high growth.
