The most influential and comprehensive lighting event in Asia, the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) was held from June 9-12. International and local participants gathered at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China to find out the latest products and technology of the industry. On August 24th, 2016, Global Sales Manager Steve Byun, Lighting Marketing Manager Brandon Lee and R&D engineers from Samsung Electronics (SAMSUNG) visited Shanghai Wellmax Lighting Industry (WELLMAX) located at Pudong New District, Shanghai. They were greeted by the CEO of WELLMAX, Yamin Wang, and WELLMAX R&D engineers.

Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition has become a wide platform for global LED lighting companies to seek partnership and customers. As part of Messe Frankfurt’s architecture and technology shows, it is expecting over hundred-thousand visitors this year at the China Import and Export Fair Complex this year. The Canton Fair is China’s largest trade fair, with the leading records of largest assortment of products and largest number of business deals made. The 2016 119th Canton Fair (Spring) will be held at Pazhou International Exhibition Complex in Guangzhou from April 15-May 4, 2016. WELLMAX, as the LED Bulb Expert, will attend the first session of the fair from April 1-19, 2016, showcase its newest series of LED bulb products along with Samsung LED chip technology to the global attendees.

On the biennial Light+Building 2016 organized by Messe Frankfurt, Samsung Electronics (SAMSUNG) and Wellmax Lighting (WELLMAX) jointly showcased their collaboration on LED technologies. The smallest 810lm full-beam-angle LED A50 bulb—the Ultron—is firstly released and gained tremendous attention from visitors worldwide.

On March 1, 2016, Samsung Electronics, the world’s second largest semiconductor supplier, signed a comprehensive strategic partnership MOU with Shanghai Wellmax Lighting Industry (WELLMAX) at Samsung Electronics’ Shanghai head office. The MOU identifies WELLMAX as one of Samsung Electronics’ first group of global ingredient brand partners together with top brands including GE and The Home Depot. WELLMAX is the first and so far the only company that receives Samsung’s ingredient brand authorization in China.
