Until now, red vivarium lighting has been achieved by applying filtering films to white lights – an unreliable and expensive method of providing a uniform diurnal lighting cycle for lab animals. Now, Kenall Manufacturing, a leader in specialty sealed enclosure lighting for over 50 years, is introducing the SimpleSeal™ Narrow Spectrum Red LED for vivariums – the industry’s first true red LED light.
