Large, medium, and small billboard operators have begun placing dozens of orders for Lightking's Air Series LED billboard. Through its light-weight air flow-through design, Air Series is half the weight and 20% less wind load than standard box-type LED signs, saving billboard owners tens of thousands in structural reinforcement costs, and making static to digital retrofits feasible and permittable for thousands of sites across the US.

Love is buzzing around 1500 Broadway on the corner of West 43rd Street in Times Square just in time for the holidays. Clear Channel Spectacolor, a brand division of Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE: CCO), installed a new 2-sided LED video billboard at the location, recently unveiled during the kickoff of Revlon's brand re-launch campaign Revlon LOVE IS ON. ​

Porlier Outdoor Advertising Co., located in the western suburbs of St. Louis, Mo., has installed two digital billboards manufactured by Watchfire Digital Outdoor. The 19mm 14’x48’ billboards are located in heavily traveled, highly visible locations in St. Charles County, a bedroom community of St. Louis.

It’s reported JVC will unveil its new LED billboard next month that will be the first true 720p high definition display in New York’s Times Square.

It’s reported that Lightscape Technologies Inc., an operator of outdoor LED billboards and provider of LED solutions, reported financial results on August 14 for the fiscal first quarter ending June 30, 2008.
