In order to cope with the intense competition in LED lighting market, MEAN WELL is now introducing the ELG family, the optimal price-performance ratio model with a highly competitive pricing.

In response to the increasing energy price and the global warming problem, LED related application imbued with energy-saving concept is thriving nowadays. To accommodate the growing LED lighting market, many industrial countries established LED related policies to support this prospective industry. After launching CLG-100 series, MEAN WELL introduced another 96W cost effective metal case LED power supplies with active PFC function and IP66 level ~ CEN-100 series.

Introduction

After successful launching PLC-30(30W), PLC-60(60W) and PLC-100(96W) series, MEAN WELL added the new PLC-45 (45W) series to this LED power supply family for the emerging demand of LED lighting / decorative lighting applications. Until now, the PLC family designed with plastic cases plus terminal block style of I/O connection is able to offer user different wattage level from 30W to 96W.

In response to the demand of LED lighting, following the successful launch of 18~150W LED power supply, MEAN WELL added two new series HLG-240 and HLG-240H to its high IP level product family in order to fulfill the higher wattage requirements in the market. With built-in active PFC function, the HLG-240H series features 90~305VAC wide range AC input (90~264VAC for HLG-240), thus not only meets the harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C, HLG-240(H), but fulfills PF>0.9 if loading over 65%.

After introducing LED power supplies with aluminum casing (CLG family) and fully enclosed plastic casing (PLN, PLC, ELN, LP family), MEAN WELL launched another LED product category, AC/DC open frame type for the “low cost” and “built-in” installation of LED lighting related applications. With the new PLP-45(45W), in addition to its existing PLP-30(30W) and PLP-60(60W) series, MEAN WELL offers LED system designers three different wattage options – 30W, 45W and 60W, which fully satisfies the low power wattage required.

After introducing aluminum casing (CLG family) and fully enclosed plastic casing (PLN, ELN, LP family) LED power supplies, MEAN WELL launched another new product category, open frame type – PLP family, for the “low cost” and “built-in” installation of LED lighting related applications. PLP-30/60 series are 30W/60W switching power supplies with 90~264VAC universal input range.

After launching low wattage LED / outdoor power supplies from 20~96W, MEAN WELL debuted another new 150W high IP rated AC/DC product for the growing demands of larger scale LED lighting related applications. With wide range input 90~280VAC, the CLG-150 series also possesses active PFC function complying with EN61000-3-2 (harmonic current) class C for >50% of output rated loading that fulfills the requirement of typical lighting applications. The most important feature for CLG-150 is the user adjustable output voltage and current level.
