Wooree E&L Secures Half of LED Supply to LG Display

Firm benefits from LG InnoTek’s exit from LED business Image: LG Display South Korean LED firm Wooree E&L has secured half the supply of LED module used by customer LG Display, TheElec has learned. LG Innotek to Sell LED Sector and Transfer Business to Wooree E&L and Seoul Semiconductor

LG Innotek has been planning to quit its LED business and a recent report by TheElec, a Korean media, covered that LG Innotek has sold its LED sector and the back light unit (BLU) LED business will be taken over by Seoul Semiconductor and Wooree E&L.
