Nichia and GVL Settle US Patent Case regarding Basic Filament LED Patent

Nichia and GVL have agreed to settle the case titled Nichia Corp. v. Global Value Lighting LLC, Case No. 1:19-cv-01388-RGA, pending in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. As part of the settlement, GVL has agreed to pay Nichia a license fee in return for gaining access to the technology covered by Nichia’s U.S. Patent No. 9,752,734 (“the ’734 Patent”).
