Taiwan VisEra Focuses on High-power LED Packages

Taiwan LED packaging manufacturer VisEra Technologies is reported to put its manufacturing emphasis on high-power packages dedicated to light bulbs in 2011.  At present, the company produces 2,000 200mm wafers of packages a month, roughly equal to four million packages. In 2010 alone, it shipped as many as 800,000 packages to streetlight makers in the mainland.
