Taiwan Major LED Makers Benefit from Japan Order

Source has released that Taiwan’s major LED makers have benefited from the strong demand of LED lamps in Japan since the March 11 earthquake. For example, Lite-On Technology Corp., said in the second quarter of this year it landed as twice as many orders it had a quarter earlier. Lextar Electronics, currently depends on the Japanese market for over half of its sales. So far, LED lighting has accounted for 40% of the firm’s LED operation.
