ZigBee® Alliance Develops ZigBee Light Link for Consumer Lighting Control

Ecosystem company ZigBee® Alliance, has announced it is developing ZigBee Light Link™, a new open standard designed for LED lighting control, to help manufacturers develop a variety of lighting and control products for the home. According to the company, ZigBee Light Link™ will be as easy to use as a common dimmer switch. Light bulbs, LED fixtures, sensors, timers, remotes and switches built using it will not require special devices to coordinate in a home's network.
