The European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) and China Solid State Lighting Alliance (CSA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen their partnership, reported Novus Lighting.

China Solid State Lighting Alliance (CSA) has signed a strategic cooperative framework agreement with a Hungarian solar company. This enables the Hungarian company to enter the Chinese market via CSA and for Chinese companies to have the opportunity to develop their business in the Eastern European market.

The testing and certification organization CSA has officially set up its Guangzhou lab with the addition of new energy efficiency verification (EEV) testing equipment and added capabilities. Located in the Guangzhou High-tech Development Zone, the lab comprises an area of over 3,800 m2.
