Switch to Sell First 'eco' Liquid-cooled LED Light Bulbs

Californian-based firm Switch has launched new liquid-cooled LED light bulbs which is first 'eco' light that's as bright as a normal 100w bulb. The bulb was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was set to retail for £24 when it eventually goes on sale. According to Brett Sharenow, strategy officer for the company, the big thing about this bulb is it uses 80 per cent less energy than an incandescent.
