OCI Targets on Sapphire Ingot for LED Market

OCI sets off shipping the first sapphire ingot for LED to be supplied to the world's major wafer manufacturers including Taiwanese companies, to take over the global market. The company had held a ceremony for the commencement of shipment of sapphire ingot for export on March 2 and started to export 6-inch ingot, a high value-added product, as well as 2-inch and 4-inch products to the world's top 5 manufacturers located in Taiwan, China, and Japan.
