OSRAM Has Withdrawn the Patent Infringement Action Against KINGBRIGHT.

  Kingbright companies are not subject to any enforceable judgments in relations to white-light LEDs in Europe. Osram’s patent (number DE 297 24 543 & DE 297 24 848 and number EP 0 907 969) have been cancelled and withdrawn by German Federal Patent Court and the European Patent Office on 12, Jan. 2011 and 12, Feb. 2011 respectively, the German company finally cancel the infringement charges. All three intellectual property rights have been declared as null and void by the relevant German and European authorities; as a consequence, Kingbright has prevailed in the afore-mentioned infringement litigations. Therefore, there are no further proceedings pending against Kingbright in Europe relating to white-light LEDs.
