Philips Develops the Most Energy-efficient LED Tube for Basic Lighting

Recently, Philips announced that it has developed an energy-efficient LED Tube suitable for basic lighting. Prototype of this LED tube has been produced, it can produce 200lm / w high quality white light (luminous efficacy of fluorescent is 100lm / w, while the luminous efficacy of traditional bulb is only 15lm / w); while the energy consumption of this new tube is only equivalent to half of the energy consumption of the similar LED products in current market.
