Founded in 1950 by the renowned architects Ray and Charles Eames, Eero Saarinen and MoMa curator Edgar Kaufmann Jr., the “Good Design Award” from the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts, has now established itself as an internationally recognised symbol for innovative design.
