Metro LED Lighting is marketing a new LED lighting fixture for commercial parking garages that is now DesignLights Consortium (DLC) qualified. The GL-40SV, from IntenCity Lighting, is designed for effective lighting, with low glare, and high efficiency to lower electric costs. It is engineered as a one-to-one replacement for High Intensity Discharge (HID) fixtures and fluorescent garage lights. As a DLC listed parking garage light, this LED fixture has undergone testing to assure compliance with the latest outdoor lighting standards. Taiwan LED Packaging Manufacturer Everlight Still Leads the Pack with 2Q Results

The financial report recently published for Taiwan LED manufacture 2Q performance shows LED packaging manufacturers are fairing far better than the majority of wafer manufacturers whom are still in a state of deficit. Among seven packaging manufactures on the market all experienced gains this quarter aside from Bright LED Electronics Corp and Harvatek whom had profit loss of NT$0.07 and NT$0.44. Edison Otp and PARA Light were able to turn their profits around this quarter, and Everlight still was able to maintain a good performance with EPS NT$ 0.9, keeping their top spot.

Lite-On Technology reported second quarter 2013 consolidated revenue of NT$50.01 billion, up 7% Q-o-Q.
