The department store Quartier 206 presented its collection using innovative OSRAM lighting

The Berlin-based deluxe department store Quartier 206 teamed up with OSRAM AG to infuse its display windows with special lighting. Located on the Friedrichstrasse, one of the top addresses in Berlin, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs for short) were being used to create an impressive setting for the sophisticated fashions at the store. The light technology of the future transformed glass panels into luminous surfaces which emit a warm, very soft lighting. This permitted the creation of light installations unlike anything seen before.

Having lived in Berlin, Amsterdam, London and New York, she gained experiences as an architectural lighting designer in the world of opera, cruise ship and show lighting. Audi has released new details about its 2014 A8, ahead of its debut on August 21st. Set to grace the stage in Frankfurt, the facelifted model will feature new turn signals that consist of 18 LEDs in the headlights and 24 LEDs in the taillights. Direct Lit TVs Rushing to Increase Efficiency Levels before National Day Holidays

With China’s energy efficiency subsidy coming to a close, demand for LED backlight at the end of 2Q and beginning of 3Q slowed. The upcoming National Day holiday orders also had effect on 3Q LED backlight delivery performance. China is expected to promote another energy subsidy that will be stricter towards efficiency performance in the near future, with the possibility of drastically raising the EEI (Energy Efficiency Index) from 1.7 and 1.9.
