Reportedly, Glen Ellyn plans to get its first new LED light system in the village within the Braeside subdivision near Interstate-355 and Roosevelt Road under the Braeside Neighborhood Lighting Improvements Project.
Originally estimated at $627,000, the Oswego-based Utility Dynamics Corporation was awarded the contract for the project after submitting the lowest bid of $474,533 — about 25 percent under the engineer's estimate for the project.
