The Foley City Council is thinking about making a trial program for a system to use LEDs to replace florescent and incandescent lights. The council is scheduled to vote this program on May 4. According the official, the system will start by installing the lights in a few locations in city buildings and officials will decide if the savings are worth the costs of converting other structures to the new lighting.
