Reportedly, GE Lighting has injected  $15-20 million to acquire  Lightech Ltd., which is still caught in legal proceedings following the failure of its acquisition by Carmanah Technologies Corporation. UK's first LED street lights are installed in Bath and North East Somerset Council at the Hicks Gate roundabout at the Bristol end of the Keynsham, Somerset. First Source Bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday to celebrate their new energy saver project  of implementing new LED lights to reduce carbon footprint.
