TSMC Solid State Lighting (TSMC SSL) announced today that its laboratory was accredited as a LM-80 qualified lab by Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF). At the same time, all of its LED product series have been tested in the lab and will be qualified per LM-80 testing practice.  LM-80 is the most well known qualification method for lumen maintenance test of  LED devices across the industry. Osram has agreed to sell its production site which mostly produces CFLs at the factory in Shaoxing, China, as part of its plan to save €1 billion (£864.5 billion) by 2015.
