At the beginning of 3Q 2010,LED packaging house Ledtech Electronics thought its low temperature light bars revenues had lowed 10% sequentially because of drop orders. But revenues for 4Q 2010 were planed to pick up as clients prepared for the demand during the summer of 2011.

The South Korean steel industry giant POSCO announced to participate in the LED Industry. The new venture's headquarters will be in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The first screen of its kind, the Diamond Vision OLED, measuring 8.8sqm (3.84 m (w) by 2.3 m (h)) with a depth of just 9.9cm, has been installed at the material Research Center recently opened by the chemical and pharmaceutical company Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany.
