Energy Focus Awarded an Additional $0.5 Million to Provide LED Lighting for US Navy Ships

Pittsburgh International Airport to Switch to LEDs with $800K Grant

The Pittsburgh International Airport has get an $800,000 grant to install LED lighting, a county executive Monday announced. Nearly 1,500 LED Lights will be installed in parking lots, and garages in the airport. The lights that will be replaced are in the long-term and extended parking lots as well as the three-level parking garage at the airport. The LED lighting system will consume an estimated 83 percent less energy and result in $158,754 in annual energy savings, with 2,118,438 kWh saved over the project's lifetime.

Arizona State University Installs LED Lighting in Parking Structures as Part of Energy Conservation Project

Lighting Science Group Corporation (LSG) recently announced that Arizona State University (ASU) has taken another step in its commitment to 'going green' by retrofitting six parking structures on the Tempe campus with new light emitting-diode (LED) fixtures.
