UK County Celebrates Lumiere Festival with Breathtaking Installations

The fourth Lumiere festival closed on 15th November at 11pm. First estimates put the number of visitors at around 200,000 attending the festival over four nights. Retrofit LED Bulb Mimics Candles for BBC Historical Drama

The TV series is being made by BBC Cymru Wales Drama in partnership with The Weinstein Company and BBC Worldwide/Lookout Point. During filming in Russia, local production company Globus Film Studio took the decision to install over 1,200 Verbatim LED retrofit lamps to create appropriate lighting when shooting important scenes such as those in a historic ballroom.

The Marriott International Headquarters was built in 1979 in Bethesda, Maryland. The 74,322 m2 (800,000 ft2) office building provides workspace for 3,000 employees daily.      It’s the first LED screen project with irregular space in China, and said to be the largest LED creative ceiling curtain in the world. Munich Subway Lit by Osram's LED Line Lights

The newly designed intermediate storey of the Marienplatz subway and metro station in Munich, Germany was inaugurated this Monday. The concept drawn up by the architects Allmann Sattler Wappner and the lighting designer Ingo Maurer gives the subterranean mezzanine a bright, clearly arranged and customer-friendly appearance following a construction period of three and a half years. Up to 200,000 passengers enter this traffic node daily, following modernisation by the Munich municipal authorities (SWM) and the Munich transport company (MVG). An essential element of the design is the orange-red light ceiling installed in the central ticket hall, where more than 1,000 Osram light lines have been installed for illumination.
